Married the day after her husbands 23rd birthday (11 Nov 1846) the young couple lived on the 80 acre farm in Fairview IL which William had purchased a short time previously.
Three years later they lived near Canton until 1853. In 1868 they moved to Champaign County, Harwood Twp. Susan and William had 7 children:
