Charles E. Wyrick, 84, died Friday at the Humphreys Hospital in Tuscumbia.
Mr. Wyrick was born July 9, 1881, near Tuscumbia, the son of Daniel M. and Ollie Wyrick. On April 7, 1907, he married Stella Mabel Clark who preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 1943.
Mr. Wyrick was a member and deacon of the Mt. Zion Christian Church near Tuscumbia. He was a farmer and at various times owned grocery stores in and around Tuscumbia.
He is survived by three sons, Arthur M. Wyrick of Kansas City, Kan., Charles L. and Warren V. Wyrick of St. Louis; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Wiley and Mrs. Mabel Denzl, of St. Louis and Mrs. Opal Robinett, Tuscumbia; one sister, Mrs. Lola Walker of Wichita, Kan.,; and one brother, Carl Wyrick of Middletown.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday at the Mt. Zion Christian Church. The Rev. Mark Sooter will officiate with burial services in the church cemetery.
