Funeral services were held at Coffee Creek Church, at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Walter Mosley. The burial took place in Coffee Creek Cemetery. He was born in Scott county but had been a resident of Jennings county for more than seventy years. In August 1862, he enlisted, at Seymour, in Company G of the Sixty-seventh Indiana Regiment, under Captain Nelson Crabb. Accompanied by his daughter he made a trip to Gettysburg, two years ago, to attend the national encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic. He was a member of the Mt.
