Warren Kenneth Meyer was the only son of Ida Gwinner and Ralph Arnold Meyer. Ida and Ralph were from Macon County, Missouri, where both of their fmilies were successful farmers. Soon after they married in December of 1916, the Meyers relocated to Satanta, Kansas and there operated a very productive farm of their own. About 1925, Ida and Ralph headed west with their two children, Ralph and Bernice, settling on a farm in Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington.

The following are newspaper texts describing Warren Kenneth Meyer's marriage ceremony to Martha Agatha Ulrich:

"Married at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, May 17, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ferndale, Reverend William J, O'Brian officiating, Mr. and Mrs Warren Meyer are to make their home in Bellingham. Mrs. Meyer is the former Martha Ulrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ulrich, Route 2, Ferndale. Mr. Meyer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Meyer, Route 3, Bellingham. Their attendants were miss Anne Burgler and Mr. Donald Frombley, and only family members attended the wedding."

"The marriage of Miss Martha Ulrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ulrich, and Mr. Warren Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Meyer of Bellingham, was solemnized Saturday morning at 10 A.M. within the rectory of St. Joseph's Church. Rev. Father W.J. O'Brian officiated. The bridesmaid was Miss Annie Burgler and the groom's attendant was Don Frombley of Bellingham. Others present for the wedding ceremony were the parents of both the bride and groom. The bride wore a desert rose colored suit, with white accessories and her corsage was of rosebuds and fern. A reception and dinner was given at the home of the bride's parents, following the ceremony. The long table, at which twenty-six relatives and friends were seated, was centered with a three-tiered bride's cake, topped with a dainty bride and groom. After a short wedding trip to Tacoma, the young couple will make their home in Bellingham".

Warren a dairy farmer for twenty-three years and long-time resident of Ferndale in Whatcom County, Washington, passed away peacefully at his home. He is survived by his beloved wife of seventy-one years, Martha Ulrich and was predeceased by their two children, Yvonne and Ralph. Warren and Martha have six grand children, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
