Mrs. K. D. Neathery

Funeral services for Mrs. K. D. Neathery, 74, were held at Earnheart chapel at 3 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. Harold S. Taylor of Kaufman and Rev. W.J. Epting of Sherman. Burial was in Pilot Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Barry Binion, Sonny Cato, Guy Taylor, David Taylor, Billy Doggett, Max Taylor, Ernest McMillin and Robert Taylor.

Mrs. Neathery died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in a Sherman hospital after a long illness.

Born April 27, 1881, at Pilot Grove, Mrs. Neathery was the daughter of the late Z. W. and Zora Binion. She was married to K. D. Neathery Dec. 8, 1900, at Pilot Grove. They had lived in the Desert community since 1912 with the exception of a few years when they lived in Whitewright while their daughter Lillian was attending high school here. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Miss Lillian Neathery of the Whitewright high school faculty; three sisters, Mrs. D. M. Taylor of Pilot Grove, Mrs. T. W. Cato of Farmersville and Mrs. R. E. St. John of San Antonio; and one brother, P. H. Binion of Rogers, Ark.
