Nellie Ruth McFalls, age 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in a Collegedale healthcare facility. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. She was very strong in her faith.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mae Bell Cofer. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Beecher McFalls in 2004; four brothers, Thurman Cofer, Ruben Cofer, Earl Cofer and Roe Cofer; four sisters, Velma Goodner, Bessie Epperson, Nancy Davis and Mattie Loffis; and one grandson, Timothy Chadwick.

Survivors include son and daughter in law, Preston and Darlinda McFalls; daughter and son in law, Brenda Sue and Don Morrow; grandson Kenneth McFalls; four great-grandchildren, Austin Chadwick, Austin McFalls, Megan McFalls and Melinda McFalls; one sister, Sally Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Vaughn, Rev. Johnny Hood and Donna Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Triplett Cemetery with N. C. Cartwright, Randall Higgins, Mike Digennaro, Greg Morrow, Mark Morrow, and Gary Goodworth serving as pallbearers.
