6. Leonard Lipe (10 Jan. 1801-31 Dec. 1852), m. Catherine Davis on 30 Jan. 1823, Union Co., Ill.
7. Jacob Lipe (23 Sept. 1803-29 March 1846) m. Rosena Davis on 23 Dec. 1823, in Union Co., Illinois.
Barbara and Leonard Lipe left North Carolina and went to Illinois. He died in April 1848, and she died in October of the next year. Barbara is listed on the is listed on the Fed. Mortality schedule of 1850, as Barbary Lipe, having died in Oct. 1849, age 83, having been sick for 2 days with "cont. chills."
