PICHER, Okla.Funeral services
for Mrs. Nona Lucille Welsh,
71 years old, 112 West A street,
who died at 7 o'clock Monday
morning at Baxter Springs Memorial
hospital, Baxter Springs,
Kan., will be at 10 o'clock this
morning in the Miami All Saints
Episcopal church, Miami, Okla.
Father Phillip S. Crow will officiate.
Burial will be in the
Memorial cemetery, Granby,
Mo., under the direction of the
Jim Thomas funeral home of
Picher.
Pallbearers will be Gene Huffman,
Frank Simmons, Paul
Pace, Claude Jones, Paul Jones,
and Immanuel Koronis.
Mrs. Welsh was born at Granby,
Mo., in 1895, came to Picher
from Kansas City in 1932 and was
associated with her father, Ed
Mesplay, in the drug business
here. Mrs. Welsh was a member
of All-Saints Episcopal church of
Miami, the Floyd Perry American
Legion auxiliary of Miami,
past president of the Picher
American Legion auxiliary and
was a member of the Eight and
Four Society of Ottawa county
and the Ottawa County Democratic
Club.
Surviving are a son, Jack
White of Columbus, Ohio; a sister,
Mrs. Jane Hazen of Haddam,
Conn., and two grandchildren. ^
