A veteran of nearly fifty films, his credits included "Heart Break" (1931),"County Fair" (1937), "Gone With the Wind" (1939), "The Grapes of Wrath" (1940), "Ski Patrol" (1940), "Cheers for Miss Bishop" (1941) and "Dark Passage" (1947).
