"CHARLES H. JONES DIES
Served in the United States Navy for Fifty Years
Charles H. Jones, a former resident of Philadelphia and a member of Post No. 2, G. A. R., died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Anthony W. Paulsworth, 4300 Katonagh avenue. New York city, on Tuesday. Mr. Jones passed fifty years of active service in the United States Navy, from which he was retired in 1912. He made his home in this city up to a little over two years ago, when his wife died and he went to live with a daughter in New York.
Mr. Jones was a member of the Loyal Legion and is survived by three sons and ne daughter: W. Harry Jones, Dr. Charles J. Jones, Dr. John B. Jones and Mrs Lillie V. Paulsworth.
The body will be brought from Ne York city at noon today. Interment will be made in West Laurel Hill Cemetery. The remains may be viewed by friends in the cemetery chapel at 2.30 P. M."
