Ira Clifton Husky, 75, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma died Saturday, January 28, 1985 in Norman, Oklahoma following a sudden illness.
He was born May 28, 1910, east of Noble, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Norman High School and he attended the University of Oklahoma and East Central State University in Ada, Oklahoma. He was a school teacher and served as county agent in Cleveland and Beaver counties. His last place of employment was as a civil engineer for the State of Oklahoma Parks Department. Following his retirement, he moved to Oklahoma City and had lived there for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel of the home and a brother, Dr. A.B. Husky of Norman, Oklahoma.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery, Oklahoma City. Merritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bearers will be his nephews, Dr. Ira Brady Husky, Dr. Alan Bryce Husky, Dr. Daniel Louis Husky, Andrew Brady Husky, Dr. Jerry Nida, and Gale A. Myers.
