James L Scroggins, 44, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with his Lord Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Born November 19, 1967 in Nashville, Arkansas; he was the son of Leo Scroggins and the late Jewel Lofton. He was preceded in death by his mother Jewel, stepmother, Ruth Helen, and brother, Cleo.

James is survived by his daughter, Jamesa Scroggins, of Houston, Texas; grandson, Adrian Buchanan of Houston, Texas; father and stepmother, Leo and Joann Scroggins of Nashville; brothers, Lee Scroggins (Ruth Ann) of Nashville and Eundra Scroggins (Dee) of Texarkana; sisters Lakeisha Lofton of Hot Springs, Chiffon Innaram of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Helen Spencer (Leroy) of Nashville, Sharon Swift (Billy) of Nashville and Karen Winfield (Artie) of Texarkana; the mother of his daughter, Anita Davis-Hill of Olive Branch, Mississippi; step-sisters, Kim Boles (Stacy) of Center Point, Arkansas; Tonya Britton of Nashville and step-brother, Alfonzo Britton of Little Rock.

Memorial services will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry McKinney officiating.
