CALDWELL Services for Julian Steunenberg, 80, the eldest son of the late Gov. and Mrs. Frank Steunenberg of Idaho, will be conducted at Canyon Hill at 3:30 p.m. today. Officiating will be Elder A.T. Bidwell of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mr. Steunenberg, who died Friday at Thousand Oaks, Calif., was born July 1, 1886, in Knoxville, Iowa. He came with his parents to Caldwell in an emigrant car on the Oregon Shortline Railroad. He was educated in Caldwell, and was employed in various activities in and around Caldwell, Pasco, Walla Walla, and Emmett, Washington. He was married to Frances Wood in 1906. They moved to California in the late 1920s.

He worked as a state and federal employee until about 10 years ago.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Frank of Salt Lake City and Cal of California; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Knowles, Mountain City, Nev., and Mrs. Brenda Richards, Thousand Oaks; a brother, Frank of Lakeport, Calif.; a sister Miss Edna Steunenberg of California.
