Death: Aug. 12, 1984

Pearl was the first child of Michael Moser and Nora Kaylor. Her mother died when she was seven years old and her father was shot to death by his second wife's x-husband when she was ten. She and her younger brother went to live with her paternal grandmother. Pearl remained in school through the eighth grade then her family decided it was time for her to help out financially. She went to work in a meat packing house stuffing sausages. She had always had a very queasy stomach and the raw sausage meat made her sick so she tried not to look at it while she worked. That made her sausages lack any semblance of uniformity. She was finally moved to a different area of the packing house. After her marriage to James Good, she was a stay at home housewife. They were married almost nine years before the birth of their only child.

After coming to Colton, they found a house and were able to arrange affordable payment, moved in and remained there the rest of their lives.

To suppliment her widow's pension from the railroad, Pearl went to work for the Colton School District as a crossing guard for McKinley Elementary school. She kept her job until her health made it impossible for her to be out in the weather in all temperatures. She was well liked by the students and their parents.
