Mrs. Seeley Died Early Last Night Funeral Services Tomorrow Afternoon for Resident of Leavenworth Since 1885


Mrs. Anna Seeley, 86 years old, a resident of Leavenworth since 1885, died at 7 o'clock last night at her home, 7th and Delaware streets. Mrs. Seeley was the widow of John O. Seeley. She was born in Galesburg, Illinois, December 18, 1839.


Four sons and two daughters survive her. The sons are Robert and Wilson, of Leavenworth; Louis of Kansas City, Kansas, and Bert, of St. Louis. The daughters are Tillie Hamlin [sic: Hamler], of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Etta Miller, of Leavenworth. Twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive her.


Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Bush funeral home, Sixth and Olive streets. Chaplain Harmon Allen will officiate. Internment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
