Hannah, a daughter of James Andress and Hannah Woolf, was born in Escott Township, Leeds County, Ontario about 1824. Hannah's first husband was James Larue. They had two known children, Margery and Marie Larue.

James was about 44 years older than Hannah, and he passed away in Ontario about 1859 at the age of 79, leaving Hannah a widow at the age of 35.

On February 12, 1861 Hannah remarried to Joshua Watson, son of William Watson and Dortha McConnell, in Brockville, Leeds and Grenville County, Ontario. Joshua was 16 years younger than Hannah. They had two known children, Agnes and Mary Watson.

Hannah and Joshua and their children emigrated from Canada to the United States in 1874 and settled in Columbia Township, Tuscola County, Michigan.

Hannah died of cancer in Columbia Township, Tuscola County, Michigan on February 25, 1901 at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 9 days.

In 1910 Joshua was still living in Columbia Township. Residing with him were his step-daughters, the widowed Margery (Larue) Titmus and Marie Larue.

Joshua died of pneumonia on May 15, 1916 in Columbia Township, Tuscola County, Michigan at the age of 75 years, 9 months, and 20 days.
