Services for Dr. N. R. Weaver, family physician for Mooreville area residents for 56 years, were held February 26, 1962 in Mooreville Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. He died at his home on Feb. 23. He attended school in the Oakland community in Itawamba County, where he was born, studied medicine in Louisville, Ky., and received his degree from the old Memphis Hospital and Medical school. He was married in 1905 to Miss Burmah Grady and they resided in Mooreville since then.
Survivors included his wife; two sons, William N. Weaver of Chicago and Frederick Russell Weaver of St. Louis; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Holly and Mrs. Bess Reed of Memphis, Mrs. May Hale of Fulton, Mrs. J. L. Whiteside of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Mrs. Mittie ? of Tremont; two brothers, John Weaver of Memphis and Ernest Weaver of Fulton; two grandchildren.
