MRS. LINNIE JAMES

Funeral services for Mrs. Linnie James, 63, of the Grapeland area will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Sunset Christian Church, near Grapeland. Rev. Jim Brent will officiate and burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, near Grapeland.
Pallbearers will be Hubert Brimberry, John A. Brimberry, Lem Langham, Grady Edge, Russell Skidmore and A. C. Leamons.
Mrs. James died following an illness at 2:30 p.m. Friday in a Crockett nursing home. She was born in Houston County, on August 30,1899.
Survivors are six sons, Lloyd James of Palestine, Billie James of Merreal, Oregon; John R. James of Blythe, California; Doyle James of Farmington, New Mexico; Wade L. James of Amarillo; and Dalton James of Dickinson; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Condron of San Antonio and Mrs. Maudine Daily of Grapeland; three stepsons, Dan and Leonard James both of Palestine and Tom James of Grapeland.
