STEADMON , WILLIAM L., 103, of Maryville died Saturday at Fairpark Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Johnson Steadmon ; sons, Richard, Luther and Arthur Steadmon ; daughter, Helen Gregory.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Hilda and Howard Cook of Maryville, Mildred and Frank Morgan of Mountain City, Mo.; daughter, Stella Compton of Greenback; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; several great- great-great-grandchildren; sister, Reba Green of Arizona.
The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. today in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home with David Kineman and Tony Clark officiating. The interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
