EMPORIA -- Beryl Jean Hinson, 67, Emporia, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at home. She was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Emporia, to Joseph Christopher and Lora Vivian Metcalf Suddock. She married Leo A. Hinson on March 12, 1961, in Miami, Okla. He died Oct. 28, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Dean Hinson and Larry Lee Hinson, both in Emporia; a daughter, Karen Lynn Heston, Eskridge; two brothers, Clayton Suddock and Donald R. Suddock, both in Emporia; three sisters, Betty Albin, Dorothy Edgar and Helen Howell, all in Emporia; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.
