In the 1940s and early 1950s, she acted in at least 15 films and made guest appearances in several television dramas. She was also featured on the covers of national magazines. Her first movie role was in the Randolph Scott western "The Gunfighters" in 1947. She starred in the 1948 film, "The Naked City," lead female billing in "I Was a Communist for the FBI," "Countess of Monte Cristo" and "Larceny" in 1951. Her last roles was that of Jane, Tarzan's mate, in "Tarzan's Savage Fury" and "Loan Shark" 1952. She continued acting in early 1950s, television dramas such as "Medallion Theatre" and "Goodyear Television Playhouse."
