Perry Martin dies at hospital at Elgin IL
Perry E. Martin, 39, son of the late Oliver P and Minnie Martin of near Martinsburg, died Thursday in the Veterans Hospital Elgin IL. He was removed by L.A. Uhl to his funeral chapel here Friday, and later taken to the home of his step-mother Mrs. Celia Martin, near Martinsburg. Besides his step-mother, he is survived by his son, sister Mrs. Vida Smith, four half brothers, Orville, Verlin, Vilmer, and Glenn Martin, and one half sister Edna Roberts. Funeral services were conducted at the Church of Christ, Martinsburg, Sunday afternoon.
