Ann T. Varnadore, age 83, of Waycross died at her home Saturday May 26, 2012 after an extended illness. She was a native of Ware County, daughter of the late Cleve Tatum and Nola Youmans Tatum and was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Varnadore, a son, Ira Varnadore, Jr., two daughters, Wannell Holton, Glenda Luke and a brother, John Tatum. Ann worked with Oxford Textile for many years and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church of Waycross.
Survivors include three daughter, Gail V. Copeland and husband Wayne of Waycross, Mary Couch and Ann Coats (Dwight) all of Griffin, GA, a sister, Orlean Morgan of KoKoMo, Indiana, special nieces, Darlene, Nolie, Maryland, Sherry, Pal, Bonnie, Vicki and Ginger. Also, 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren survive.
Funeral Services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Dixon and Rev. Adam Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 8 P M.
Active pallbearers will be, Anthony and Jimmy Thomas, Billy and John Copeland, Ray Riggins and Randy Crawford. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary pallbearers.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
