Booth Laird
Mrs. Jean Pauline Booth Laird, 85, of Durham, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
Mrs. Laird was a fervent witness for Christ, a devoted military wife, and a loving homemaker. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and the Cornerstone Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey R. Laird.
She is survived by three sons, Warren R. Laird and wife, Christine of Greenville, SC, Jonathan W. Laird and wife, Trudy of Pensacola, FL, and Timothy D. Laird and wife, Linda of Holland, MI, one daughter, Dianne McKinney and husband, Wendell of Durham, NC; 11 grandchildren, Jacob Laird, Daisy Laird, Jessica Laird, Juliann Laird, Michael Laird, Derek Laird, Phillip Laird, Nathan McKinney, April Cronce, Shelby McKinney and Benjamin McKinney and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fellowship Baptist Church for the Lydia Ladies Missionary Christmas Fund, 515 Southerland Street, Durham, NC 27703. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
Burial was on May 14th at the Western Carolina Veteran's Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
