"WESTFORD - Mrs. Marie (Bennett) Youmans, a former resident of Westford, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, April 13 in Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services were held in the Potter Funeral Home, Saturday, April 19, at 2 p. m. The Rev. James Bartz, pastor of the Methodist Church officiated and burial was made in the Westford Cemetery Bearers were Howard Roseboom, George Graves and Henry Snyder. Mrs. Youmans was born in New York City, July 7, 1895, daughter of Fred and Jennie (Crawford) Quick. She was twice married. Her first husband, John Bennett died about seven years ago. She is survived by her husband Alonzo Youmans; three sons, George Bennett, Los Angeles, Calif.; Raymond Bennett, Little Falls, N. J.; and Robert Bennett, Charleston, West Virginia; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Sawyer of Westford; 14 grandchildren and one uncle, James Crawford of Schenevus."
