Clarence L. Bennett Sr., 72, of 520 Richard Drive, suffered a fatal heart attack this morning at this home. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Millville Hospital where he was taken by the American Legion Rescue Squad.
The deceased retired from the Millville Manufacturing Co. seven years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Annabelle; five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Elbertson of Delmont, Mrs. Margaret McCrills of Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Lila LaRosa of Vineland, Mrs. Ellen Smith and Barbara Bennett, this city and two sons, Clarence L. Bennett, Jr., Vineland and William R. Bennett, this city. There are also 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A sister, Louella Deuter, Palmyra, also survives.
Rev. Gerritt Kenyon of the First Assembly of God will conduct funeral services from the Christy Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
