A native of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Hart played the position of Left Wing for teams in the S-SSHL, SSHL, St-Cup, WHL, Can-Pro, Can-Am, PCHA, WCHL, CPHL, NHL, and the CAHL hockey leagues. At 5'09", and 171lbs, Hart played for Weyburn Wanderers from 1919 to 1921, 1922 to 1923, Moose Jaw Maple Leafs from 1921 to 1922, Victoria Cougars from 1923 to 1926, Detroit Cougars from 1926 to 1927, Windsor Hornets from 1926 to 1927, Montreal Canadiens from 1926 to 1928, 1932 to 1933, Providence Reds from 1928 to 1934, and the Weyburn Beavers from 1934 to 1938. Hart was also a member of the PCHA All-Star Team in 1924. After retiring from hockey he turned to coaching teams in his hometown of Weyburn instead of playing. Hart passed away there in June 1964 at the age of 62. (bio by: K)
