She was a daughter of Thomas George White and Fannie Susan Overton. Grandma had such a wonderful memory pretty much to the end: she could recall names & dates effortlessly, which helped me get started on our family's genealogy! She suffered terribly from rheumatoid arthritis and spent a good part of her later years in a wheelchair, but her mind was always sharp. I loved passing time with her, talking about the old days....
