Tuesday, October 25, 2011, By The News-Examiner. Florence S Sorensen Ream, 86, passed away Oct. 24, 2011 in Boise, Idaho. Florence was born a twin in Twin Falls, on a twin day, Aug. 22, 1925. She grew up in Buhl, Idaho and graduated from Utah Agricultural College in Logan, with a degree in Home Economics. After graduation she taught school in Spanish Fork, her roommate was Mary Ida Ream from Dingle. One weekend, Mary Ida invited her to Dingle to go deer hunting. There she met Wesley Jean Ream, Mary Ida's brother. Jean and Florence were married Sept. 13, 1950 in the Logan Temple. They made their home in Dingle and raised eight children. Florence served in many callings in the LDS church. She was a member of the BLM Hospital Auxiliary, the Jane Davis Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and the Bear Lake Literary Women Book Club. Florence loved people, she loved to have parties, and she loved to have fun. She enjoyed being outdoors. She could name every bird and flower she saw.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband Jean Ream, her twin brother Foster Sorensen, and two sisters, Anna Eldredge and Murriel Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Eva Nuffer of Aurora, Oregon, her two brothers, Richard (Maureen) Sorensen of Boise, and Wayne (Deanna) Sorensen of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and all eight of her children; Carla (Russ) Baxter of Mountain Home, Wesley-Wes (Jeralyn) Ream of Orem, Foster (Sharla) Ream of Brigham City, Rebecca Hansen of Brigham City, George Ream of Kearns, David (Heidi) Ream of Dingle, Rachel (Clyde) Jensen of Montpelier, William-Bill (Beth) Ream of Caldwell; and forty-two grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family would suggest donations be made to the BLM Hospital Auxiliary, or the Perpetual Education Fund.
