Beulah (Huskey) Stoner

February 26, 1937 ~ May 13, 2012

Our precious Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend went to be with her Lord on May 13, 2012. Beulah was born in Sevierville, TN on February 26, 1937. In 1956, she met the love of her life, Freeman. That same year, they married and moved to Washington State, where they made their home in Peshastin. She was a loving homemaker, who was very busy raising her four children and working the farm. She loved her garden and taking care of all the animals. The milking of Bessie (our cow) solely was her job; no one else could get close to Bessie. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially Rook and Rummy. From a very early age, she appreciated her music. Now, that's an understatement, she loved Country Western music; her father was a square dance caller. As years went on, she helped with the raising of her grandchildren and then great-grandchildren. They were the joys of her life; nothing made her happier than having them around her. She also worked at Peshastin Fruit Growers as a sorter in the early years of her marriage. Next, she worked at the Cashmere Convalescent Center, as a Nurse's Aide, where she retired.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents: father, Beecher Huskey and mother, Carrie (Maples) Huskey; her brothers, Lewis and Ray Huskey; and sister, Algie Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Freeman; sisters, Hazel Bohanan and Ruth Stinnett, both of Tennessee; her children, Bill (Connie) Stoner of Dryden, Karen (Greg) Davis of East Wenatchee, Linda (Roy) Ferguson of Peshastin and Jean (Ross) Stoner of Monitor; her grandchildren, Erin (Jeff) Porter of Montana, Chalane (Jeremiah) Murphy of East Wenatchee, Anthony (Brandy) Stoner of Moses Lake and Cory Westlund of Monitor; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Chloe, Kelsiy, Kayli, Triston, Kendra and Hailey Stoner, Raina, Violet and Kaden Porter, Seth Ramsey, and Dante, Sunshine and Lily Weigel.

The Celebration of Beulah's Life will take place at Ward's Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 18, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ward's Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth. The Service concludes in the Chapel, with Private Family Interment in the Peshastin Cemetery. Ward's Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, is in charge of the arrangements.
