Cecil married his sweetheart, Elizabeth Ann O'Dell on September 4, 1955 at the Polo Christian Church. They enjoyed forty years of marriage together. Elizabeth preceded Cecil in death on January17, 1995.
He served his country in the United States Army serving from July 24, 1958 to when he was honorably discharged on June 30, 1964.
Cecil enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his bike, playing cards, camping and drinking coffee but most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Perry.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Perry, Oklahoma. Chaplin Gene Owen will officiate.
Interment will be Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Cecil is survived by his four sons, Cecil "Woody" Beisel of Altus, Oklahoma, Larry Beisel of Charlottesville, Virginia, Mark Beisel of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Richard "Colby" Beisel of Perry, Oklahoma; one brother, Harry Beisel of Perry, Oklahoma; one sister, Frances Roesler of Perry, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
