Mrs. Emil A. Just Obituary--Nee Augusta Emelia Draeger; Mother of Elsie M Just; Who married Emil Ernst Rieke...
Mrs. August Emil Just, daughter of deceased Christian and Ottilie Drager, was born May 26, 1866 at Putsig, Cyarnika, Bromberg Province, Posen, Germany. Here she was also baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
She came to this country in March 1890. On July 27, 1890 she was united in marriage to Mr. A. Emil Just. To this union were born eight children, five of which have preceded deceased in death, namely Hugo, Meta, Helmuth, Mrs. Anna Schiffman, and Mrs ELSIE RIEKE (nee Just).
On February 17, 1809 she moved to Fairfax, Minnesota where they resided until September 16, 1926, when they returned to Wood Lake.
Deceased had been ailing for about four years, but on Feb. 2, 1936 her illness became more serouis, and on Feb. 11, suffered a stroke of paralysis, and on Feb. 16 the Lord relieved her of all her earthly suffering at the age of 69 years , 8 months and 22 days.
She leaves to mourn her departure her bereaved husband, Mr. A. EMil Just, two daughters, Alvina (Mrs. Ole Engebretson, Granite Falls) and Laura (Mrs. Perry, Minneapolis, Minnesota) and one son Emil Just Jr., Sioux Agency, three brothers, Gustav Drager, Wood Lake, Herman Drager in Germany and Emil Drager, Eldredge, North Dakota, and five sisters, Alvina, Mrs. G. Hanke, Wood Lake, Ida, Mrs. Henry Hemple, Seattle, Washl, Hulda Mrs. Emil Behr, Wood Lake, Minnie, Mrs. Fred Wiehr, Eldredge, North Dakota, Anna, Mrs. Paul Henke Wood Lake and eleven grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
The sum of $11.50 has been donated by the following as a memorial wreath:

Farewell, I must now leave you; the grief this day doth give you. Soon others, too, shall bear. Be ye to God commended; In heaven all woe is ended, And we shall meet in glory there.
Funeral services were conducted from St. John's Ev. Lutheran church, Thursday, February 20, Pastor C.G. Schmidt, officiating. Interment was made at St. John's cemetery.
