Son of Galen and Susan Buhr. 4 siblings. Tayten died as a result of a car accident which also claimed the life of his mother. Rest in peace.

Tayten G. Buhr, 14 months, son of Galen and Susan Buhr, died as a result of a car accident on June 23, 2004.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, at the Christ Community Church of Beatrice. Interment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice.

Visitation began Wednesday, June 30, and continues through 9 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home in Beatrice. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to services at the church. A family prayer service is slated for 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Tayten G. Buhr was born April 27, 2003 in Beatrice, and was baptized June 1, 2003, at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice. He enjoyed playing with his sisters, playing outside on his swing, and puppies.

He is survived by his father, Galen Buhr, of Filley; half-brother, Mitchell Amundson of Arlington; half-sister, Chelsea Amundsen, and sisters, Tia and Taylor Buhr, all of Filley; grandparents, Ronald and Elaine Hilgenkamp of Arlington and Gilbert and Judy Buhr of Beatrice; great-grandfather, Edwin Hilgenkamp of Arlington; great-grandmother, Ida Mumford of Beatrice; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His mother, Susan Buhr, died June 27, from injuries she received in the automobile accident.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Louise Hilgenkamp and Dean Mumford, Emil and Lenora Dunklau, and Bruno and Marie Buhr.

A memorial has been established to the family's choice, with Fox Funeral Home in charge.
