Paul L. Dixon, 45, Rt. 1 Box 173, Arcadia, passed away Saturday, April 14, at the DeSoto Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born March 10, 1928, in Shelby, N.C., and came to Arcadia in 1972 from Miami, where he had lived for the past 15 years.
He was a member of Westwood Methodist Church, Miami. He retired from Palm Springs Dodge Motor Company as sales manager in Hialeah. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Alva D. Dixon of Arcadia; two sons, Bobby D. Dixon of Surrey, Canada and Daniel G. Dixon of Arcadia and one grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held in Shelby, N.C., with the Lutz-Austell Funeral Home, 409 West Marion St., Shelby, N.C., in charge, with burial to be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Fallston, N.C.
Robarts-Grady Funeral Home in charge of all local arrangements.
