The Rev. J. L. Carter, pastor of the Centenary Methodist church where Mrs. Cooke was a faithful member, will officiate, and will be assisted by Dr. C. E. Guice, pastor of the J. J. White Memorial Presbyterian church.
Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery under the direction of the Catchings funeral home. Active pallbearers will be the nephews, including James D. Harrell Jr., Magee Harrell, Kirby Harrell, Frank Magee, Sam Magee and P. M. Nettles.
Mrs. Cooke died about 5:55 p.m. Wednesday at her home following an illness of about six months. She was born Nov 16, 1884, in Lincoln county and has lived in McComb practically all of her married life.
Surviving are her husband, C. P. Cooke; two sons, Charles Magee Cooke and Jack Cooke of McComb; two daughters, Mrs. A. J. Spradlin of New Orleans and Mildred Cooke of McComb; four sisters, Mrs. George Dunn, Mrs. Blanche Watson and Mrs. J. H. Mogan of McComb, and Mrs. L. A. Higgins of Starkville.
