DANIEL A. CHANDLER, (Samuel-8, S. Augustus-7, William-6, William-5, William-4, John-3, John-2, William-1) and Emma Hatch. She was b. 27 Jan, 1840, d. 31-Aug-1862 in Nevada, dau. of James Jason Hatch. Mr. C. m2. Harriet E. Caldwell, b. in Rochester, Wis. 13 Feb.,, 1839, dau of Tyler Caldwell of Waupaca, by his wife Mary Warner of Vermont. Mr. Chandler crossed the plains to Nevada where his {1st} wife died. He returned to Waupaca and spent nearly two years married, and recrossed the plains to Nevada, spent a year or more there, and returned to Iola, where he d. 5-Aug-1860 aged 31. Their children were:

"HISTORICAL NOTE" - Iola is a village in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, United States. The village is located partially within the Town of Iola. A small portion lies within the adjacent Town of Scandinavia. It's location is about 10 miles north of Waupaca. The community was named after a Potawatomi girl.
