WELCH, Shirley E., age 83, a resident of Tucson for the past 78 years, passed away February 17, 1999. Born July 18, 1915 in Pratt, Kansas. She is survived by her son, Carl L. (Sherryll) Welch; grandchildren, Leo, Mike and Cindy; great-grandchildren, DW, Candie, Nicole and Brian; brothers, Melvin, Kenneth, Sy and Bob Norvelle; sister, Vivian Askew. Predeceased by her husband, Obie and her brothers, Lawrence and Bill Norvelle.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 1999 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 1999 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, Rev. Tom Harris of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
