Born to Ralph and Margaret Kahley McGlynn. Wife of Joseph Dusick. Member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. Employed in the housekeeping dept. of Hazleton General Hospital for more than 30 years retiring in 1987

Lavina C. "Pat" Dusick, 76, who resided with her daughter, Lana Elswick, East
Hollywood Boulevard, Hazleton, died Monday evening at Weatherwood, the Carbon
County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly, where she was a resident
for one week. Born in Derringer, Oct. 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the
late Ralph and Margaret Kahley McGlynn. Prior to living with her daughter for
the past five years, Mrs. Dusick had lived on Airport Road, Hazleton. She was
a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. Before retiring in
1987, she had been employed in the housekeeping department of Hazleton General
Hospital for more than 30 years. Preceding her in death, in addition to her
parents, were her husband, Joseph Dusick, in 1988; a brother, Perry McGlynn,
and sisters, Marjorie DeLuca and Alice Platt. Surviving in addition to her
daughter, are brothers, Theodore, Sugarloaf; Lawrence, Richmond, Va.; three
grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 am from the Mark S. Harman Funeral
Home, Inc., East, 669 W. Butler Driver, Drums. The Rev. Stephen Krawoutka will
celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic
Church, Hazleton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
