MRS. FANNIE BELKA HAS APPEALING ANTIQUE BRICK HOME IN MER ROUGE
An appealing new home as you enter Mer Rouge on the Bastrop Highway is the antique brick of Mrs. Fannie Belka. Mrs. Belka wished to live near her sisters, Miss Pinkston and Mrs. Reily and so she has completed this home which complements the dark read of her sisters' home next door. A striking note is the unusual light fixture as one enters which is in the Early American motif. Throughout the home, Mrs. Belka stayed with a monochromatic color scheme ranging from mauve to pale pink. The large living room is carpeted wall to wall and is a soft shade of satinwood. In contract is a lovely Chinese-effect cabinet which Mrs. Belka has had done in a black satiny finish. much longer article.
