LaRell J. (Lee) Wright was born January 10, 1934, in Charleston, Utah, to Vivian Turner and Leo W. Wright.
He died May 12, 2012, in Sandy, Utah, from complications following surgery.
He graduated from Davis High School, UT, and Long Beach State, CA/University of Utah.
He married Avona Taylor on June 10, 1960 and was sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. They are parents of Stacy (John) McHenry; Paige (Kenneth) Carabello; Lane J. (Kelli) Wright; Jacki Wright; and Kirk J. (Alana) Wright.
Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Nelden, Nelvin, and Gaylen; children: Jacki (1974) and Kirk J. Wright (2011).
He is survived by his wife; children: Stacy, Paige and Lane; ten grandchildren: John Ryan, Sarah, Rachael, Lauren and Andrew Sean McHenry; Maitlan and Alexander Carabello; Andrew Lee, Brooke and Turner Wright; sister Karen (Glen) Leonard.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
Funeral on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 11:00am at Spring Creek 1st Ward (860 East 200 North, Springville, Utah.)
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Perpetual Education Fund or Humanitarian Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Burial held in the Springville City cemetery immediately after the funeral service.
