She was born in Clarksville, Texas, on July 6, 1917, and was a resident of Baton Rouge for 35 years.
She is survived by her son, Neil and his wife, Katherine, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Annapolis, Md.; and daughter, Anne Hohmann Long and her husband, Charlie, of San Antonio, Texas. She had five beloved grandchildren, Neil Martin Hohmann of New York City, Mark Christopher Hohmann of San Francisco, Claire Emilie Hohmann of Baton Rouge, Anna Christine Long of Chantilly, Va., and Charles Walter Long of San Antonio; and a great-grandchild, Andrew Neil Hohmann of New York City. Also survived by dear sisters, Christine Robison of Sherman, Texas, and Mildred Marable and her husband, Allen, of Tyler, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hohmann was a dedicated teacher for more than 40 years and completed her teaching years at Westdale Junior High. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary education sorority.
