Again death has entered our midst and taken the little son of C. F. Bell and wife. Murvin B. Bell was born December 23, 1907, and died Saturday evening, June 8th, with a complication of disease which lasted eleven weeks. During his illness, he was a patient sufferer, always trying to be cheerful when pain was severe. He was a lovable child in every way. Though the family are comparative strangers here, having come from Sterling, ILL., in March, they were surrounded by kind neighbors that did all that loving hands could do. In this death all share in the sorrow and extend sympathy to the bereaved family. The funeral was held from the church Tuesday. Rev. Hurd, the Christian minister from Estherville, officiated, speaking a sympathetic and impressive sermon. The little body was laid to rest in the Superior cemetery amid an abundance of beautiful flowers. The church was nicely decorated with cut flowers and potted plants.

It was a particularly sad day for the family. When they were on the way home from the cemetery the team they were driving became frightened, running away and throwing the members out of the buggy. The little girl, about 6 years old, had her arm broken and one other child was bruised up some.

*Obituary is published in the Spirit Lake Beacon, June 13, 1912.
