Albert Rogers passed away early Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Hospital after a lingering illness. Age 86 years. He was born August 26, 1876 in Huron County and came to Saginaw about 55 years ago. On September 8, 1908, he married Louise Pedrottie in Ruth, Michigan. She survives him. The deceased was a member of St. Joseph's Church and its Holy Name Society, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers No. 286. Before his retirement in September 1945, he had been employed by the Pere Marquette Railroad for 38 years. Surviving besides his wife, are two sons and five daughters: Wilfred and Leo Rogers, Mrs. Elizabeth Dyer, Mrs. Alice Niederstadt, Mrs. Frank Benaway, Mrs. Paul Morris, and Mrs. Jack Egerer, all of Saginaw; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, William Rogers, Cheboygan; Joseph Rogers, living in Huron County....burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery....
