Funeral services for Mrs. Lonette M. Guice, 71, of Delhi formerly of Epps, LA will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with Rev. Johnny Smith and Rev. Todd Perry officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-9PM Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Bayou Macon Cemetery near Darnell.

Lonette died early Monday morning at Glenwood Regional Medial Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Huey Allen Guice; her parents Lonzy Clyde Mathews and Lula B. Plunkett Mathews; a brother L. C. Mathews and two sisters, Christine Mathews Duckworth and Juanita Williams.

She is survived by three children, Rip Guice and wife Tonya and Jeff Guice and wife Pam all of Epps and Cindy McGrew and husband Kent of Shreveport, LA; four brothers, Donnie Joe Mathews of Shreveport, LA, A. J. Mathews of Atmore, Alabama, John Mathews of Kent, OH and C. T. Mathews of Hurricane, WV; three sisters, Joan Hale of St. Joseph, LA, Sharon Finwick of Fairlawn, OH and Judy Butler of Newellton, LA; nine grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; a special friend and companion, B. J. Brewer of Delhi and his daughter Linda Garcia and husband Joe, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ken McGrew, Brian Guice, Billy Guice, Mike Duckworth, Jerry Duckworth, Roger Mathews, Bobby Mathews and Keith Mathews.
