Marjorie "Marge" Blackburn Weber, 98, of Las Cruces, N.M., and formerly of Olney, died at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Village of Northrise in Las Cruces, N.M.
Mrs. Weber was born February 26, 1914, in Fairfield, Ill., the daughter of Lawrence Arvil Blackburn and Winona Black Blackburn.
She married Dr. Eugene Powers Weber in April of 1935. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1974.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Weber is survived by three sons, Lawrence J. Weber Sr. and wife, Elaine, of Montgomery, Texas, Robert Powers Weber and wife, Yvonne, of Jane, Mo., and Eugene Powers Weber Jr. and wife, Pamela, of Boulder, Colo.; two sisters, Grace Sullivan, of Fairfield, Ill., and June Smith, of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren, Dr. L. James Weber Jr. (Teri), of The Woodlands, Texas, Dr. Jeffrey C. Weber (Tina) of Kennett Square, Pa., Laura Weber, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mary Marjorie Marr (William), of Germantown, Tenn., Eugene P. Weber III (Kim), of San Pedro, Calif., and Ben Weber, of Boulder, Colo.; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor E. Weber, Katherine N. Weber and Adrianna M. Weber.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Winona Blackburn; husband, Dr. Eugene Powers Weber; and one sister, Helen Gibson.
