Jackson Mace, for many years a well known and respected citizen of Miller County, died of a kidney ailment and other complications, Saturday, Dec. 26, at the home of his wife's son, a Mr. Withers, of near Dixon.

His wife, two sons—George of Brumley, Mo., and Harrison of Kansas also two daughters from Kansas were at his bedside when the end came.

The body was brought to Iberia Sunday afternoon and funeral services were held in the Baptist Church at two o'clock, Rev. Menzo Sooter of Dixon officiating. Burial was made in the Iberia Cemetery. He was a member of the Brumley Baptist Church.
