Ulysses S. Gerald, 76, died Friday, Dec. 4, at a local nursing home. He was a world War I veteran.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vida Cherry Gerald; one step-son, Carl Netherton, Park City; two sisters, Mrs. Gillie Wells, Bowling Green, and Mrs. Pheobe Hatcher, Louisville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, at 2 p.m. at the Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove. Burial was in the Horse Cave Cemetery.
