Funeral service for Minnie Morris Letson, 96, of Hillsboro will be Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Reverend Scotty Letson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Letson, who died Monday, May 7, 2012, at her daughter's home, was born October 31, 1915, in Lawrence County to Lawrence and Versie Morris. She was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Letson; three sons, Grady Letson, Benard Letson and Lonnie Paul Letson; son-in-law, Wendell Reding; six brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Charles Letson and his wife, Cathy, of Pulaski, Tenn.; five daughters, Minnie Faye Letson of Decatur, Dorothy Coffey and her husband, Willard "PeeWee" of Hillsboro, Edith Berry of Courtland, Barbara Reding of Hillsboro and Cathy Hale of Courtland; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lee Kimbrell, Scott Hale, Brandon Hale, Brad Berry, Steve Roden, Greg Terry, Tim Reding, Steve Roden, Clarke Letson and Brad Reding.
