Born in Cinquefrondi, Reggio di Calabria, Calabria, Italy.
Theresa Carlucci, of West Scranton, died Thursday at Moses Taylor Hospital following an illness. She was the widow of Rocco A. Carlucci, who died Nov. 4, 1995.
She was born in Italy, daughter of the late Frank and Domenica Gabriele Carrera. She came to this country as a young girl and settled in Scranton, where she lived most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the B&C Sportswear Co. and was previously employed by various other garment companies.
She was a member of St. Lucy's Church.
She enjoyed walking, knitting and crocheting. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Mountain Rest Nursing Home for all its help and support.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia and husband, Joseph Gerrity, Scranton; Carol Carlucci, Philadelphia; and Roxanne and husband, Carl Hoover, Scranton; a brother, Michael Carrera, Scranton; two sisters, Rose Panusky, Scranton; and Immaculate Menichello, Old Forge; five grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Samuel; and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be Monday from the Patrick F. Guido Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Lucy's Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
