Delavan Menzo Wentworth was born 3 Nov 1903 to parents Menzo Delavan Wentworth and Marie L Unternahrer. He married Mildred Ellen Hammer 24 May 1924, and by her had two sons, Leslie Delavan Wentworth and Richard Merle Wentworth. Mildred and Delavan divorced, and about 1930 he married Emma Huber. Del loved circuses and trains. He created and owned "Wentworth Bros. Circus", a beautifully crafted miniature model circus. He displayed his circus on tour from town to town for some years. Del and Emma had no children together. They lived in Monrovia, California. They are both interred at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia.

By their sons Leslie and Richard, Mildred and Delavan have 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
